My Reviews
I remember reading this book when I was younger and thinking, "this could never happen." Now, with the current state of the world, I found myself thinking the book seemed so much more relevant. Sadly, it's supposed to be dystopian, so draw your own conclusions from that relevance.
It's also just an extremely well-written book- the type of story that draws you in and keeps you reading well into the wee hours of the night. Atwood does an amazing job of connecting the reader with the main character and making you really want that happy (whatever 'happy' means in the world she's created) ending.
