Mrs. Sinclair's Suitcase

Our book club just finished this book. We were very divided on it. Some thought it was very interesting while others thought it was poor writing. I personally found it a bit confusing but very interesting. I learned a lot about the WWII in Britain.

Beautiful, Brilliant, Insightful

We were of mixed feelings in our book club. Some saw it a beautiful insight into Russian life. Others, like myself, saw it as rambling and pointless. I picked this up and put it down three different times. It was so filled with minute details I became very frustrated and the plot was nonexistent. If it hadn't been a book club book, I never would have read it.
