This is a fun thoughtful book, good for a book club sparks conversation

Slow until about ½ through.

I would have like to hear more about her family and their decision and what transpired when they left.

I enjoyed this book, while i felt as if several details were glazed over. It appears the purpose of this was a conversation between a mother and son and not a tell all book.
