Our book club had lively discussion about this sensitive topic. Jodi Picoult is easily read. As mothers of teenagers we sometimes questioned the actions and motivations of the teens in the story. We were generally unsatisfied with the ending as it seemed too contrived. Picoult developed the main character and made us sympathetic towards the killer.
