Our book club enjoyed this book; our discussion covered old age & what happens when you're unable to take care of yourself any longer; the fascination of a Depression-era job working for the circus - able to move between one class of worker and the class of the performer - not often crossed. The underbelly is not a pretty sight. Lots of good discussion.
