I recommend this book mostly because most people had some issues with it so it generated a lot of great conversation. It was our first book club meeting and I think this was a great book for that because it brought up many touchy issues that allowed people to speak their minds and helped us get to know each other better. The writing is weak and she could have used a better editor, but the story is fairly engaging.
